The Newcomers Club of Santa Cruz County
is just what you are looking for. It was founded in the 1960’s and has approximately 200 members.
The purpose of our club is to have fun and make new friends.
- Lunch
We have a marvelous luncheon the 3rd Tuesday
Of each month except in July and August. We meet at different restaurants around the county with exciting and fun entertainment.

Activity Groups
There are about 26 groups that plan various monthly activities with something for everyone.
There are activities during the day, in the evening, on weekdays and on weekends. Members are encouraged to join one or more of these activities to help plan events and to participate.
All activities are open to members. Spouse/partner/guest are welcome to participate in events like "Happy Hour", dining groups, etc.

- Membership:
We are a friendly group of people. We come from varied locales and backgrounds but all share a love for Santa Cruz County. We have members who have lived here for many years and some that have recently located to this area. Ages range from 40 to 100+. Members are single and married, working and retired. What we have in common is a desire to meet people and get to know our way around this area. All are welcome.

At the first luncheon you attend, you will be greeted at the door by our membership chair
- Monthly Newsletter:
An online monthly Newsletter announces and describes all of the scheduled activities and provides detailed information on time, location, cost (if any), and contacts.
